I’ve been cooking for as long as I can remember. As a Venezuelan, our culture is all about cooking from scratch, since processed and frozen food is extremely expensive. It’s funny because for us, the “cheap” food is actually the organic one, the freshest one, the one that comes from small farmers who are just trying to support their families.
That’s why, after years of living in the USA, I decided to come back to my roots. I grow my own food, I take my time in the kitchen, and yes, I know a week or even a month preparing a meal sounds like a lot, but I promise it’s so worth it.
